   and application requirements.

The support package is provided "AS IS," without warranty of
   any kind.

3. Feature description
(a) PMQ hardware definition file
The XPeSP2_EPIA-NX.pmq file was generated by the Target Analyzer
tool, TAP.EXE, that examines the underlying hardware of the
EPIA-NX board and produces an XML-based output file. Users are
free to use the Target Designer and this file to implement
    their specific configuration files.

Visit the web page at http://www.viaembedded.com/ for more
    information about the EPIA-NX mainboard.

(b) SLX configuration file
VIA offers a sample configuration file that should be merely
adequate for users' immediate and initial evaluation of the
EPIA-NX board running XPe SP2. However, users should customize
    their own configuration files.

The XPeSP2_EPIA-NX.slx was made from the XPeSP2_EPIA-NX.pmq file,
design templates, the Winlogon with the Explorer shell, and
some OS components. Moreover, the configuration files use
some new VIA XPe SP2 driver components.

Users, however, are highly recommended to visit the web page
    at http://www.viaarena.com/ for information about
how to update the latest VIA driver components.

4. Image build steps
(a) Open the Component Database Manager.
(b) Import all of VIA XPe SP2 components in this package.
(c) Open the Target Designer.
(d) Click on \File\Open to read the XPeSP2_EPIA-NX.slx file.
(e) Click on \Configuration\Build Target Image. (Without a dependency check step)
(f) Verify success of building the image.

Note: This SLX file had updated the Windows Media Player to version 10.

5. Known booting issue
If you use MS-DOS tools such as FDISK and FORMAT to create
the boot partition, the system may fail to boot up the image
with an error message of disk boot failure.

Answer: The best solution is to use the administrative tools
in WinXP or Win2K to prepare the system boot partition.
An alternative is to use a utility called "BOOTPREP.exe" under
   %SystemRoot%\Program Files\Windows Embedded\utilities\.
The utility replaces the original DOS partition boot sector
code with the code that loads the NT NTLDR loader.

6. Tip for importing components
